Put it in your diary - Monday 6th May 2024 at Longridge Activity Centre!

In partnership with Ace Marlow Playing Cards, there will be a free treasure hunt to find the Marlow playing cards which will be scattered across our riverside location on Quarry Wood road, Marlow. It's a great excuse for children to run around in the fresh air and have some fun!

There's also a host of activities for anyone aged 8+ to have a go at. Very reasonably priced at £5 per hour's session, choose from stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, climbing, and laser tag.

Joining for the day is a selection of local retailers and refreshments too that all feature in the Marlow and Henley playing cards, so a guarantee of the best of the best both towns have to offer!

Running from 11am until 3pm, it's the perfect way to spend a bank holiday Monday in the fresh air. There's no entry charge and parking is free too so book your activity sessions now as this day promises to be a popular!

We are lucky to be the chosen charity for the Ace Marlow playing cards so a big thanks to all of those who have already bought a pack. 25p from every pack sold is donated to us.

Families and Personal Development

We offer a range of other activities throughout the year, and already have family kayaking courses for the Summer live and ready to book. If you are looking to get outdoors and active with your family but can’t find quite the right fit online, please do get in touch – reception@longridge.org.uk

Our Holiday Activity Days run every day of the school holidays and can be booked online here – 5-8 year olds, 8-12 year olds, 12-16 year olds. These do sell out every year, and so if you have particular dates you are looking for adventurous childcare then we do advise booking early to avoid disappointment.

Our Youth Clubs run at Longridge on a Monday and in Oxfordshire on a Thursday. They are just £2 and for those aged 12-17.

We are aiming to:
– Develop Young Leaders (with in house qualifications & nationally accredited qualifications)
– Promote safety in all situations and emergency preparedness.
– Encourage independent actions and forethought.
– Inspire and develop an enduring love of the outdoors and adventure.

Mission Statement: Our mission is to teach young people life skills to help them grow and develop in the rapidly changing world and society that we find ourselves in. Through survival, rope and outdoor skills we will encourage young people to take command, build lasting friendships, learn to respect the natural environment and themselves.

We also run a number of personal development courses, such as Power Boat courses and Kayaking courses. If you are looking to learn or develop your skills, get in touch.
