Youth Groups

We are recognised by both The Scout Association and Girlguiding UK as an activity centre and campsite. We offer a huge range of activities to suit all abilities in a safe and invigorating environment.

Scouts and Guides can benefit from 50% discounts on all Longridge's activities and courses. Other recognised youth groups will receive a 40% discount.

Regular Visitors

Scout, Guide and youth groups can apply for a Longridge account allowing them to benefit from further price reductions. The account is of use to groups visiting more than six times in a year or working towards a recognised BCU or RYA qualification.

Summer Camps

At Longridge, we’ve been running our hugely popular Summer Camps for fifty years. We know that summer camps are the highlight of the year for Scout and Guide groups and we make sure that every young person has an unforgettable time with us.  We can help plan your activity programme and your group can even work towards a recognised BCU and RYA qualification.

Special Events and Activity Weekends

Longridge hosts a number of special events for Scouts, Guides and youth groups throughout the year. Groups can take part in competitions such as our hugely popular Dragon Boating Championship or work towards a special badge.

Water Adventure Weekend (16th to 18th April and 2nd to 3rd October 2010)  £45.00 per person

A wonderful wet weekend aimed at older Cubs/Brownies and Scouts/Guides

Dragon Boat Championships (25th September 2010)  £10.00 per person

A national event that is always hugely popular, with groups coming from all over the UK to compete for the Moon Dragon Trophy.
