Run from 8.45 – 5.30pm through-out all school holidays. Activities are seasonal – in the Autumn/Spring involving climbing, disc golf, activity trail, woodsman skills and in the Summer predominately water activities such as sailing, kayaking, rafting and bell boating
Saturday Morning Activities £24.00 per day / £135.00 for six mornings
Run from 9.30 – 12.30 throughout the year. Activities are seasonal and including climbing, disc golf and activity trail in the Autumn/Spring and canoeing, kayaking and sailing in the Summer
RYA Stage 1 Sailing 2 day course (weekends and school holidays) £90.50
BCU 1 & 2 Star Kayaking 2 day course (weekends and school holidays) £80.00
After School PaddleSports £60.00 for 6 sessions
Weekly sessions, leading to a BCU PaddlePower certificate, sessions include kayaking and canoeing.
4.15 – 5.30pm on weekday afternoon during term-time.
After School Water Activities £10.00 a session
A chance to try out our range of water activities, each week will be a different craft including: kayaks, canoes, bell boating, dragon boating, sailing, rowing and rafting 4.15 – 5.30pm on weekday afternoons during term-time.
Paddle Power Explore £10.00 a session
Improver sessions for paddlers who have completed their BCU Passports.
4.15 – 5.30pm Friday afternoon / 2.15 – 3.30pm Sunday afternoon
Birthday Parties
We offer fun outdoor activity birthday parties for ages 6-16. You can either pick one of our packages or design your own party round one or more of our activities. Our on-site café, The Ridge Café, will provide a sumptuous birthday tea or we can provide a BBQ on one of our beautiful river-side meadows. For those looking for something a little bit different we have facilities to offer sleep-over parties and discos. Call our bookings office to discuss your party requirements.
Birthday Packages
All of the following packages include a birthday tea, a cost for a BBQ will be an additional £2.00 per person.
Bell-Boating. Possible for parties of up to 20, 8-years and over. Cost for up to 10 children, 75-minute activity. £80.00
Kayaking. Possible for parties of up to 50, 9-years and over. Cost for up to 16 children, 75-minute activity £190.00
Escape from the island. Suitable for 9-years and over. Cost for up to 12 children, 75 minute of raft building. £105.00
Pirate Party. Cost for up to 16 children, face painting, row pirate ship to island for water quest to win the treasure, followed by picnic on our Treasure island. £250.00
Sleep-Over. Up to 15 staying in our bunk-house, with disco or film show £250.00
(extra £150.00 for Longridge staff to provide overnight supervision)
