An energetic rock band, that will really open the Music Festival with a bang!

Cheryl Hillier   

Cheryl is a singer/songwriter with Andy Carter on acoustic base.  Cheryl uses words to paint pictures; each tells a story - could it be the one you're looking for... could it be yours?? From world issues, people and their problems, to songs of love, lust and loss.

This Reading four-piece have attracted media attention, and their constant gigging and prestigious festival appearances – not to mention album and EP releases – have earned them a well-established fan base. Their epic, sexy and polished rock sound has caught the inspiration of many a radio DJ, promoter and – most importantly – music fan.

In July 2009, at the centre of a storm of curiosity, excitement and anticipation, The Quotes released The Monte Rosa EP with two sold-out nights at one of their hometown’s most established music venues. An enormous achievement for an unsigned band, but yet another great credit to these four vastly talented young musicians.

The band’s ferocious sound and slick execution defies their years. With songs and presence large enough to fill an arena, yet intimate enough to give a crowd of 300 a personal performance, The Quotes appeal is far reaching, and set for longevity.

The buzz around The Quotes is quickly spreading in and around London, so look out for them playing both headline and support slots in some of London’s most popular music venues.

The band are currently in the studio recording some new tracks, and are looking forward to a stellar 2010!"

Playing a blues based band of rock and roll Border Trilogy return to the live scene with some new material from the forthcoming EP Songs For All Seasons. A local band who enjoy nothing more then turning up the amps and having a laugh. Hope you enjoy the show.
