Fundraising for the future - Sponsor a cedar shingle

Longridge is entering an ambitious new stage of its development following the successful purchase of the site in 2008 from the Scout Association. We want to replace, upgrade and build new facilities in order to provide a truly 21st century water and land-based activities centre.

Cedar shingles, which provide an attractive and hard-wearing finish, will be incorporated into the 'Wave' design which will clad our new buildings. The first of these is the training centre, building of which starts on site in September 2009. Names (and logos for companies) can be engraved onto a shingle. This will provide a permanent record of your support which will be visible to everyone who comes to the centre. It will also help in our fundraising from Trusts and Foundations, who often want to know that we have lots of supporters!

The minimum donation for engraved shingles is £50 for individuals or voluntary groups, and £150 for companies due to the costs involved. We are of course delighted to accept larger donations!
