Longridge is the perfect location for an invigorating and unforgettable family day out.  During August we offer regular Family Activity Days, as well as Family Short Break Activity Holidays.  Contact our bookings team for dates and details.

We also offer fantastic school holiday and after school activities with something for everybody and even the chance to gain a qualification recognised by the BCU and RYA.

Holiday Activity Days

Longridge is the ideal place to spend school holidays. Outside term-time we provide Activity Days from 8.45am until 5.00pm daily giving young people the chance to make new friends and learn new skills in a challenging and safe environment.

During the summer months the activities are mainly water based and we run a number of BCU and RYA courses.  A day costs £35.00 and this includes lunch.

After School Activities

Throughout the year we run after school courses every week day from 14.30 to 17.45.  These 10-week courses in the summer and autumn terms are working towards a kayaking or rowing qualification.  During the autum and spring terms we run climbing courses.  For further information please contact us through the website or phone 01628 483252 to speak to a member of our team.

Family Activity Days and Weekends

All year round Longridge holds day sessions for families where fun and adventure are the name of the game. family activities are perfect for adults and children over eight years old. Families are welcome to book throughout the year, however during August we offer full Activity Days, specifically for families which you can book individually or as a family group.

We also run Family Activity short-breaks where you can not only enjoy our range of exciting activities but also stay one one of our fantastic campsites with a choice of self-catering or café meals.

Family Activity Days will run in 2010 April 10th, 11th, June 5th, 6th and from 16th August - 1st September and cost £48.00 for a family of 4, to take part in 3 activities. Each additional or lone family member is £13.00. The day will start at 10.30 and finish by 16.00.

Family Activity Short-breaks in 2010 are April 10th/11th, 5/6th June, 21/22nd August and 25/26th August and cost £68.00 for a family of 4 with one night camping and a day of 3 activities. Each additional or lone family member is £18.00.

Birthday Parties

Longridge is a magnificent location to celebrate a special birthday. We cater to large groups from 6 years up and you can choose from our popular birthday packages or create your own bespoke experience. Eat at the Ridge Café or have a barbecue by the river and, for something extra special and grown-up, enjoy a sleep-over and disco on site.
