Families

Longridge is the perfect location for an invigorating and unforgettable family day out. We offer regular Family Activity Days, as well as Family Short Break Activity Holidays. Contact our bookings team for dates and details. Throughout the year, including the May and August bank holidays we run Family Open Days, for details follow this link.

We also offer fantastic school holiday and after school activities with something for everybody and even the chance to gain a qualification recognised by the BCU, RYA and British Rowing

Birthday Parties

Holiday Activity Days

Longridge is the ideal place to spend school holidays, as every week day of the holidays we provide Activity Days from 9.15am until 5.30pm daily giving young people the chance to make new friends and learn new skills in a challenging and safe environment.

During the summer months the activities are mainly water based and we run a number of British Rowing, BCU and RYA courses.

After School Activities

Throughout the year we run after school courses every week day from 16.30 to 17.45. These 8-week courses in the summer and autumn terms are working towards a kayaking or rowing qualification. Family Activity Days and Weekends

All year round Longridge holds day sessions for families where fun and adventure are the name of the game. family activities are perfect for adults and children over eight years old. Families are welcome to book throughout the year, however during the summer we offer full Activity Days, specifically for families which you can book as a family group to enjoy our activities.

We also run Family Activity short-breaks where a family may enjoy together our range of exciting activities and stay on one of our fantastic campsites or in our indoor accommodation with a choice of self-catering or café meals.

Family Activity Days run on 2nd, 15th, 15th April, 3rd, 10th June and and every day from 13th August - 31st August and cost £15.00 per person. The activities will start at 10.30 and finish by 15.45.

Family Activity Short-breaks are on 14/15th April, 2/3rd May and throughout August and cost £20 per person with one night camping and a day of 3 activities. Indoor accommodation is an additional £2.50 per person.

Birthday Parties

Longridge is a magnificent location to celebrate a special birthday. We cater to large groups from 8 years up and you can choose from our popular birthday packages or create your own bespoke experience. Eat at the Ridge Café or hire a campsite and have your own barbecue by the river and, for something extra special and grown-up, enjoy a sleep-over and disco on site.

As weekend during May, June and July are wonderfully popular for birthday parties, there is a £20 premimum for parties held over weekends in these months, with the money going towards the re-development of the centre.
