We provide an experienced helmsman for the session. For the younger groups launch trips are very popular and if river conditions are favourable we encourage members of a group to assist in the helming of the boat.

We have a number of power boats and the latest addition to our fleet, the Pioneer Multi, has a unique drop down front system that allows disabled access without need of a hoist.

Power Boating Launch Trip

Our prices are for group numbers up to 12 to enjoy the beautiful scenery and plenty of wildlife.

Trips run throughout the day and are restricted to twelve in a group and last 75 minutes.

Power launches and safety boats may be hired by suitably experienced and qualified people for our usual session times, prices available on application.

For those wishing to broaden their experience and learn to drive powerboats, we can offer courses based on the RYA Power Boat syllabus (Royal Yachting Association). Go to courses to find out what we are running this year or ring Longridge on 01628 483252 to arrange a bespoke course for your group.

RYA Power Boating Level 1 & 2

This course will provide a sound introduction to power boat handling allowing you to feel more competent in your ability to handle powered craft.

RYA Power Safety Boat

This two-day course will provide a sound introduction to rescue work and boat deployment when operating with sailing dinghies and other watercraft.

Pre-requisite: RYA Level 2 Power Certificate

It is the essential requirement for those looking to achieve the RYA Dinghy Senior Instructor.
