Activities: Dragon Boating
Dragon Boats are the fastest paddled craft we have at Longridge. The Dragon Boat takes up to twenty young people or eighteen adults.
We run our National Youth Dragon Boat Championships on the last Saturday in September with the adult championship on the Friday before.

Dragon Boating
Our prices are based on group sizes of up to 20 adults or 18 young people for 75 minute sessions led by one of our experienced helmsman. Sessions run throughout the day and evening throughout the year – river permitting!
The centre is able to offer courses for those leaders/teachers and instructors who wish to obtain a qualification to helm a Dragon Boat. Courses are based on the BDA syllabus (British Dragon Boat Racing Association).Click on courses to find out what we are running this year or ring Longridge to arrange a bespoke course for your group.

Dragon Boat Team Training
If you are entering a team in a Dragon Boat race this season, you might like to get a bit of training in beforehand. Sessions can be in the evening and we would suggest that they last no longer than 75 minutes. If you want to combine the session with a pub trip, let us know when you book.

Annual Dragon Boat Championships
Our very popular Dragon Boat Championships, with teams coming from all over the UK to compete for the coveted Moon Dragon Trophy.
Youth championships are the last Saturday in September, so 29th September 2012 -entries welcome from schools and youth groups
Adult championships are the Sunday after the Youth Championships September, so 30th September 2012 - entries welcome from all adult teams
